How Much is a Full Synthetic Oil Change at Valvoline
A full synthetic oil change price is $103.99, which also includes an 18-point maintenance check, a new oil filter, and 5 quarts of oil.
However I have talked to a lot of people about their experiences with Valvoline oil change in different cities, and many of them said the prices vary. A few said they had paid $80 for a full synthetic whereas most of them said they usually pay $103.99 and even $120. Also, you get 5 quarts of oil, and it is chargeable beyond that.
It’s just not the case with the full synthetic oil, but also with conventional and synthetic blend oil changes at Valvoline.
How Long Does Valvoline Full Synthetic Oil Last
If I tell you what Valvoline says about how long their full synthetic oil lasts, it is just 5000 miles or 6 months. But if I tell you my experience, a Valvoline full synthetic oil lasts for 7000-10000 miles, and if you are a rough driver, then you must change it every 6 months.
It is not just my experience but also the experience of many of the users whom I contacted to get their reviews.
The best thing about a full synthetic oil change is you do not need to change your vehicle’s oil frequently, although it costs more than a conventional or a synthetic blend you get a way better quality oil.
How Long a Full Synthetic Oil Change Takes at Valvoline
See, an oil change at Valvoline won’t take time, it hardly takes 15 minutes, but it easily reaches 30 minutes as there are other inspection and maintenance services involved.
The other services involve tire pressure checks, important fluid checks, air filters, brakes, wipers, etc. Still, I think the Valvoline oil change services are faster as compared to other other oil change auto services. But let me tell you the time may increase depending on the complexity of the vehicle’s engine and other parts.
Why Valvoline Full Synthetic Oil Change is Different from Other Brands
So, the main question is why the full synthetic oil change at Valvoline is expressive and what the difference is from other brands.
When I was working with Valvoline, I noticed some differences in their full synthetic oil which makes a lot of difference.
- the first thing is the quality of the oil which makes the engine last longer and reduces other repair costs
- it resists oil breakdown and sludges
- the oil is also tested and proven to minimize daily breakdown by providing consistent lubrication
- another good thing about this oil is it does not evaporate easily in extreme weather conditions
- reduces friction to enhance efficiency
Is Valvoline Synthetic Oil Good
Now let me tell you why a full synthetic oil change at Valvoline is good and better than many other oil change service providers.
As per my experience, I admit, they charge a bit on the higher side, but for that, they are providing an exceptional service to the customers. The mechanics are all professional and know how to do the job without damaging any parts.
See, if you know how to change the oil of your car, then is good as you’ll save a lot of money, but if you do not know and do not have much time to do so, then Valvoline is the best option. Of course, there are other cheaper options as well, but they all have some cons.
I asked some of the customers who frequently visit Valvoline for a synthetic oil change to know about their experiences:
- “I bought a brand new Ford pickup 21 years ago and have only used Valvoline In it. This truck is still in great condition and has 343,400 miles on it and still going!!! I believe this oil has helped to keep it running great all these years! Go VALVOLINE!”
- “After 21 years and nearly 300,000 miles, using Valvoline Motor Oil 5W-30 10W-30 only, my pickup still runs fine and uses no oil. You can’t buy a better motor oil. Pros: A good price, Easy to carry, Easy to open, Engine runs smooth, No glugs, Smooth pour. Cons: Can’t think of any.”
- “My first car was a 1965 Ford Fairlane with a 289. I always serviced it myself (using the can and spout). I really liked the packaging and read everything I could get my hands on about Valvoline products and decided then that I was not going to use any other oil! My vehicles have always gone well beyond the 200 K mile mark. I rarely go over 3,000 miles between oil changes!”
- “I’m using the 10 w 30 oil in my 71 camaro road use and drag strip used we’ll see how it holds up !”
