An oil change at Strickland Brothers in 2024 will cost you between $30 and $74 depending on the location, type of oil, and number of quarts your vehicle needs.
When I say depending on the location, trust me I have seen people paying $97 at Strickland Brothers for a full synthetic oil change.
Usually, the oil change charges are up to $74 only, but there are a few locations where the charges can be high. Also, the prices may rise if your vehicle needs more than 5 quarts of oil.
I went for the first time, and it cost me $70 for a full synthetic oil change in Houston, Texas.
Strickland Brothers Oil Change | Price |

How Much is Conventional Oil Change at Strickland Brothers
The price of a conventional oil change at Strickland Brothers is $30 which includes 5 quarts of oil and oil filter. This price may vary at different locations.
Like, for my location the cost is $30, but it may cost you $35 maybe in NY or California as I have seen other oil changing services charging higher prices in bigger cities.
The conventional oil change is the cheapest oil available at Strickland Brothers and requires more frequent change.
How Much is Synthetic Blend Oil Change at Strickland Brothers
If I talk about their synthetic blend oil change price, it will cost you $44 which will include 5 quarts of oil and an oil filter. At most places I have seen the price of the synthetic blend is almost the same.
This is a better quality oil than the conventional one and that’s the reason for its higher price. This oil is basically a blend of conventional oil and full synthetic oil.
If you see, the prices of the synthetic blend at Strickland and other oil change service providers are almost the same.
Also, additional costs may apply so it’s better to ask the mechanic before getting a synthetic blend oil change at Strickland Brothers.
How Much is Full Synthetic Oil Change at Strickland Brothers
A full synthetic oil is the costliest oil change at Strickland Brothers and it will cost you $74 with 5 quarts of oil and an oil filter. The price highly depends on the location.
I have seen it personally people paying $97 at some location, $80 at some location, and $70 at some location for the same oil. It differs mainly because the labor charges are different at different locations.

Strickland Brothers Oil Change Reviews
First, let me tell you about my experience at Strickland Brothers. The best thing that I liked about this oil change store is they do not try to up-sell and they provide genuine guidance and help for your vehicle.
How can I say this? Because I am a professional mechanical engineer, I have been to many different oil change service stations including Mavis, Midas, Jiffy Lubes, Les Schwab, Walmart, etc.
Most of them do try to upsell, which is not bad at all as it’s their business, but it sometimes gets irritating.
Apart from this, their pricing is good and competitive. The mechanics are all qualified and experienced working on my car.
I even asked some of the customers who visited Strickland Brothers for an oil change to know their opinion and almost all of them said their services are good, the price is good, and the best thing they do is not try to upsell.
One of the customers said, “Strickland brothers that just opened up on the west side. It’s fast and they almost always have a coupon if you search it online. I got mine done -full synthetic- for about $70.”
One said, “Adam and his two colleagues were friendly, quick, and knowledgeable. Good price. 5-20 synthetic blend oil change was $44. 100% synthetic would have been $74. I asked about a radiator flush and he advised they did not have the coolant for my car model. I appreciated this honesty. They didn’t push a bunch of services I didn’t want. Oh – I sat in the car during the work, and also got out to ask questions.”
To Wrap Up
I tried to provide all the information related to Strickland Brothers oil change price in 2024. The price may differ a bit but they charge between $30 and $74 depending on the type of oil you choose.
