Midas oil change price ranges between $34.99 and $79.99 depending on the type of oil you chose and the location of the oil change center.

If you ask me, I would say you must change it every 3000 miles to keep your vehicle engine health good and it is recommended by Midas itself.
Of course, you can choose to keep your car running even after 3000 miles if it is new, but if it is a decade old you must change it every 3000 miles.
How Much is Midas Synthetic Blend Oil Change
A high mileage is nothing but a synthetic blend which is a superior quality oil than conventional oil and it is usually recommended for vehicles that are over a decade old.
A synthetic blend oil change at Midas will cost you $69.99 which will include a new filter and 5 quarts of oil. They usually use Pennzoil oil in your vehicle which is a good quality oil, but if you want a different brand you can ask for it.
Let me tell you, this will also include other maintenance services that are free like checking important fluid levels, batteries, wipers, lights, etc.
How Often You Should Change a Synthetic Blend Oil at Midas
If I talk about what Midas has to say, according to them, you must change it every 5000-7500 miles, which I think is right. See, a synthetic blend is better than a conventional oil and requires less frequent oil changes, although it may cost you higher also, but if you calculate the average, it will be less.
And if your vehicle is old, then I think you should go for a synthetic blend if you are using a conventional oil for better performance.

The cost of a full synthetic oil change at Midas is $79.99, this will include a new oil filter, 5 quarts of oil, and other maintenance and inspection services.
If you are thinking this is expensive, then let me tell you there are many other oil change service that charges more than this, and the service of some of them is worse.
I think the price is good if you do not know how to change an oil by yourself, but if you know then you may end up saving a lot of money as it will cost you not more than $30-$40 for a full synthetic oil change.
How Often You Should Change a Full Synthetic Oil at Midas
This is best about synthetic oil, you do not need to change it frequently, you may need to change it between 7500 and 10,000, and sometimes it can run beyond 10,000 as well.
I usually do it when I drive 10,000 miles as I do not feel like changing it before. You can check if your car really needs a synthetic oil change otherwise, there is no need to spend $80 on this.

As per Midas, they say it usually takes 60 minutes for an oil change at their centers, and if you are an oil change plus customer it may take 15 minutes extra for tire rotation.
But if I tell you my experience of oil change at Midas, it was smooth, and it just took 30 minutes for an oil change including other inspections.
Maybe it was because of the location or maybe because I visited on weekdays and the rush was less, but my overall experience was good and satisfactory.
But if you know how to do an oil change then do it yourself, you can save a lot, I was a professional mechanic but I did not get enough time to do it myself and usually went to an auto shop.
