Apart from the type of oil you choose, oil change at Grease Monkey also depends on the location you are in.

For example, Grease Monkey has more than 500 stores currently in the US, Columbia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and China. If you are in Columbia, a full synthetic oil change at Grease Monkey may cost you $80, whereas, in Washinton or New York, it may cost up to $120.

How Much is a Synthetic Oil Change at Grease Monkey

A full synthetic oil change at Grease Monkey will cost between $70 to $120. I know the price range is wide but, it’s my personal experience as when I was in Columbia, I paid around $70 for an oil change at Grease Monkey.

Whereas when I was in NY, I paid around $105 for the same car. To let you know, there are customers who have even paid $120 for an oil change.

Now, if I talk about the type of oils, you can have four options at Grease Monkey: Full Synthetic, Synthetic blend, High mileage, and Econoy blend.

Depending on the oil you choose, the prices will vary, you should also check which oil is required in your vehicle. As for my car, regular oil is suggested in the user manual of the car, but sometimes I put full synthetic, although it is not required.

The type of oil you choose will also determine how frequently you need to change the oils the next time. When I use a regular conventional oil, I need to change the oils every 3000 miles or 6 months whichever is earlier.

But if I have put a full synthetic oil, then I’ll be changing the oils after 7000 miles of 12 months whichever is earlier.

However, there are other oil options like if you choose Mobil Oil, it may cost you much less, starting at $49.95 for a conventional oil and $95.95 for a full synthetic oil.

If I tell you my experience, I never spent more than 20 minutes at Grease Monkey for an oil change. Grease Monkey usually takes 15 to 30 minutes for an oil change with 16 points check.

I’m sure you won’t spend much time at Grease Monkey if you are in a hurry, you can go to their store, most of the time they do it in 15 minutes, sometimes more.

And it’s not like they do it in a hurry, you won’t find any issues with the oil change at Grease Monkey.
